The large and beautifully-landscaped park of the Du Lac et Du Parc Grand Resort is probably the prettiest garden that lies on the shores of Lake Garda. Guests will find an array of facilities cleverly arranged around the grounds to provide exclusive sports and leisure facilities. The Resort comprises tennis courts, 2 swimming pools, a pool bar and a dock for pleasure boats.
Nature and plant lovers will enjoy strolling around the magnificent park of the Grand Resort. This luxuriant 7ha park provides an idyllic casing for an extensive variety of Mediterranean and exotic trees and wild flowers.
Tended with great care and passion, the park houses common Mediterranean species including evergreen oaks, laurels, myrtles, arbutus, Italian pines, olive trees, cypresses or oleanders; but also rare species such as our old Taxodium distichum or bald cypress which measures 6 metres in circumference.
Other majestic trees you can admire in the arboretum include a Metasequoia glyptostroboides, an endangered species from China, a majestic Cupressus cashmeriana, or Cashmir Cypress, native to the Himalayas; an elegant pagoda Tree or a fragrant Camphor tree. To enable you to discover the wonders of our landscaped park a guide is available at reception.
