Sustainability
Our commitment to sustainability has reached an important milestone: the Du Lac et Du Parc Grand Resort has obtained GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council) certification, the leading international standard for sustainable tourism.
This certification is not just an award: it is the concrete result of a journey made up of responsible choices, investments, and new practices in every area of the resort.
For months, we have been working to implement more sustainable processes, improve energy efficiency, reduce consumption, protect our natural park, and promote a culture of respect—for the environment, for people, and for the community.
The GSTC evaluates and certifies the entire management system according to environmental, social, cultural, and economic criteria:
from water and energy savings to waste management,
support for the local supply chain, protection of our employees’ rights,
protection of biodiversity, and raising awareness among guests.
For us, sustainability means creating value today without compromising tomorrow.
This certification is a starting point, not an end point: we continue to improve every day because we believe that the well-being of our guests can and must go hand in hand with that of the planet.
Conscious choices, every day
We asked ourselves how to make every gesture more sustainable: from energy sources to cooking, from the materials we use to our relationships with the territory.
We have adopted a Code of Ethics and a sustainability plan with clear and measurable goals. Our mission is to offer authentic and respectful hospitality; our vision is to become a benchmark for sustainable tourism on Garda Trentino.
