When it is nature itself that takes care of the special effects, somehow everything seems more real. The Resort is hugged by seven hectares of parkland and provides a world tour amongst the 200 Mediterranean and exotic plant species, delighting your eyes and stealing your heart.
The dense texture of the Grand Resort’s park with its many species of plants and flowers is made up of bamboo and palm trees and a typical Mediterranean flora, whose development is aided by the special climatic conditions of Upper Garda, whether it be the native flora such as holm oak, laurel, myrtle,
Italian pine, or cultivated plants such as olive, cypress and oleander.
The flowering and the diversity of the various species are very exciting and encourage our guests to continue the tour of the park to explore its natural beauty. To satisfy your curiosity we have decided to create a small botanical guide that will help you recognize and appreciate the unique characteristics of
each species.
While studying these elements, this spring we added a remarkable work of restoration and enhancement of plants, recovering some small but crucial characters of the landscape. The objectives of this project are not only the preservation and enhancement of the typical flora of our resort, but also a desire to offer new opportunities for a holiday centred on the discovery and observation of the environment and landscape.
We have also provided a modern key to understanding, by selecting about 30 plants and marking them with a Qr-code that offers access to additional information and pictures of the plant.
The fitness trail is an outdoor exercise system installed in the park. It contains a balanced program of physical activities, to be carried out equipped-free and with the help of exercise equipment in order
to improve the mental and physical health of guests. Several fitness stations with instruction signs for the novice, a young person or conditioned athlete are installed in the park of the Resort.
A charming gazebo, set in a quiet corner of our atmospheric park, is available for private romantic dinners and small private events. This stylish and cosy venue is ideal for celebrating a birthday, an anniversary or any special occasion. Please contact us for more details and menu choices.
